Inside-Out or IO describes a disc's flight path that bends from the centre of the field out towards the sidelines. An IO throw is released with the disc angled down. A right-handed handler throwing an forehand IO would curve the disc to their right, whereas a IO backhand would curve to the thrower's left. The opposite is Outside-In or OI.
