The Vancouver Ultimate League is a Vancouver based ultimate league.
The league is recreational, with divisions ranging from Division 1 (colloquially referred to as "div 1", it is for the most skilled/experienced players) to Division 7 (or "div 7", for new & inexperienced players). All teams are co-ed, with a minimum of 3 of each gender required to be on the field at all times.
VUL games adhere to the most current UPA Rules, with the exception that footblocks are not allowed. It is a sometimes contentious issue, but footblocks are deemed to cause too many injuries and thus too dangerous for a recreational league.
